FTSE 100 stuck below 7340

The FTSE 100 has been unable to push higher over the past few days, stuck below 7340 but able to hold above 7300.

A fresh move higher would head towards 7470, while a decline below 7264 brings 7100 into view as a potential area of support.

DAX breaks key trendline

Losses over the past two days have seen the DAX break the rising trendline from the December lows.

This bearish development in the short term might see a push towards 11,400 before support comes into play. Further declines would head towards 11,308.

Dow stumbles after Fed

A lower high at 26,114 following on from the February peak was created on Tuesday, and since then the Dow Jones has continued to decline.

A possible bullish wedge might lead to a breakout if the price can move above 26,800, while further declines target 25,220.
