Charting indices: could the FTSE 100 drag the markets lower?

After last week’s downtrend, the FTSE 100 is back to its 6,300 key support level. 

Unless we go back to 6,420, IG analyst  Josh Mahony thinks it could go lower, and warns that breaking below the current support would send serious warning signs. The DAX doesn’t look anywhere near as bearish as the FTSE 100, and is back at a major resistance level. Over in the US, it is ‘wait and see’ mode on the Dow Jones, after the recovery from the August/September lows.
