This morning in London: The FTSE 100 is currently down ten points at 6555.
FX and commodities: GBP/USD is up 44 pips at $1.6085, EUR/USD is 13 pips higher at $1.3493 and USD/JPY is 26 pips lower at ¥98.72. Brent crude is down 29 cents at $108.89 and gold is trading up $3 at $1327.
Stocks: Oil and gas exploration and development company Sound Oil has received authorisation from the Italian authorities for another field at the Casa Tibieri site.
The day ahead: European Central Bank chief Mario Draghi is due to speak at 10am while in the US, the Federal Reserve's Charles Evans will also be speaking at 3.15pm. Personal income and spending are due for release at 1.30pm, followed by Michigan consumer sentiment at 2.55pm.
