Fund manager Rathbone is our new overbought entrant this morning, and is holding close to record highs as well. The firm had a positive quarter, with a rise in funds under management boosted by acquisitions.

Ferrexpo, the iron ore company, is still under pressure, remaining in oversold territory, and with the iron ore price still seeing down moves it seems unlikely the situation will change in the short term.

Acquisition efforts from defence firm Cobham have enlivened the company’s share price, which is on the rise once again. Separately, Go-Ahead Group has been pushed higher, after the extension of the SouthEastern rail franchise and the success of the transport group’s bid for the Thameslink franchise showed it was expanding its reach in UK commuter lines.
