What is an ETF?
An exchange traded fund is an instrument that tracks the performance of an underlying asset or group of assets. You can trade a range of different types – stock index ETFs track an index or basket of stocks, currency ETFs track multiple currencies and sector ETFs track companies operating within the same industry.
