With the coronavirus having closed many consumer activities, cinemas around the world have suffered severe effects from the pandemic, including Cineworld. The company has reported a disappointing set of earnings this morning, with pre-tax loss of $1.64bn (vs $139.7m in profit year on year), with revenue falling to $712.4m.
