Canadian Overseas Petroleum minimises its carbon footprint
Oil production companies can’t often claim to be environmentally friendly, but Arthur Mulholland, the CEO and 3% owner of Canadian Overseas Petroleum Ltd (COPL) says the business tries to be as green as it can.
He says its oil producing assets in the US are run by wind-powered generators, they recapture the gas used in the process to extract the oil, and don’t flare from the well.
IGTV’s Jeremy Naylor asks Mulholland why the company’s shares are so low.
