Big gains in oil after surprise cut in output from OPEC+
This latest cut is of around 1.16 million barrels per day, according to the OPEC+ group of oil producers, which Reuters says brings total cuts equal to 3.7% of global demand, a move the United States called inadvisable.
This further cut has come amid a recent drop in oil to levels not seen in 15 months on concerns that a global banking crisis would, ultimately, hit demand as growth softens.
