A trading platform is computer software which you can use to research, place, monitor and edit trades. You can choose from many platforms, including desktop platforms, trading apps, web-based platforms and third-party programs.

There are several trading platforms available to you in the UK, including online platforms which operate on desktop, or platforms which run on mobile apps. There are also specialist algorithmic and automated trading platforms like MetaTrader 4 and ProRealTime.
