IG introduces zero-commission crypto trading for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana
IG is now one of the lowest-cost UK platforms for these three leading cryptocurrencies

London, Monday 1st June - Investing and trading platform IG today announces the launch of zero-commission trading on its three most popular cryptocurrencies - Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana - making IG one of the lowest-cost providers in the UK market for crypto.
From today, IG customers trading these cryptocurrencies will pay only a 0.07% external exchange fee charged by IG’s liquidity partner, offering a significant saving versus other well-known platforms.
By removing commission, IG aims to reduce friction in crypto investing, helping both new and existing clients build diversified portfolios more cost-effectively. IG already offers commission-free investing in stocks, ETFs and funds across ISAs, SIPPs and GIAs.
IG UK and Ireland Managing Director Michael Healy said: “We’re building the UK’s most comprehensive low-cost investing experience, giving clients access to a wide range of markets without unnecessary barriers or cost. Pricing on other cryptocurrencies available on the IG platform remains unchanged, with a 1.49% fee applied when buying and selling.
Since launching crypto trading last year, IG has continued to expand and enhance its offering. Recent updates include the introduction of swaps, the addition of new tokens, and the ability for clients to transfer crypto assets into their IG accounts.
