Boosted interest rate promotion terms November 2026

Get a boosted interest rate of 7.00% AER on your uninvested cash balance up to £10,000 when you invest £500 or more.

This promotion runs from 00:00 on 1 November 2026 to 23:59 on 13 November 2026, UK time.

1. What are the promotion’s key details?

• Get a boosted interest rate of 7.00% variable AER (Annual Equivalent Rate) reward on your uninvested cash balance up to £10,000 when you:

- Are a new IG client. 

- Use code EARN7NOV to open an eligible account between 1 November 2026 and 13 November 2026.

- Make a first investment with a value of at least £500 in the eligible account by 13 November 2026. 

- Hold an average investment value of at least £500 in the eligible account from the date of your first investment to 23:59 on 28 February 2027. 

- If you meet the investment value requirements, you’ll receive the boosted interest reward for each month from 1 December 2026 to 28 February 2027 in which you continue to meet those requirements. 

- These terms include the eligibility criteria for this promotion. By taking part in this promotion, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. 

- We recommend that you save a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference. The version that applies to you is the one in place on the date you opened your eligible account using code EARN7NOV. 

2. How do I become eligible for this promotion?

• Be a UK resident and aged 18 or over.
• Be a new IG client and not have held any account with IG before applying for your eligible account under this promotion.
• Between 1 November 2026 and 13 November 2026, open one of the IG share dealing accounts listed below using code EARN7NOV:

a. Standard GIA (UK General Investment Account)

b. Standard ISA (UK Individual Savings Account)

• Make a first investment with a value of at least £500 in this account by 13 November 2026. This must be the first investment you have made in any IG account of the same type.

3. How and when will I receive the promotion reward?

• If you meet the promotion requirements, you’ll earn boosted interest at 7.00% variable AER (Annual Equivalent Rate) on your uninvested cash balance, up to £10,000, from 1 December 2026 to 28 February 2027.
• The boosted rate applies only to cash held in your eligible account up to the maximum £10,000 and not to shares, ETFs or any other investments.
• You will earn interest at the Standard Rate (3.75% variable AER) as set out in the Standard Interest Rate Terms, on any uninvested cash that:

a. is held in your eligible account for any month where your average investment value is less than £500, except where these terms allow otherwise (e.g. market movements);

b. is above £10,000 in your eligible account;

c. is held in any other account; and

d. is held in the eligible account after 28 February 2027.

• If your average investment value later meets the £500 requirement for another calendar month during the relevant period, you may receive the boosted interest reward for that month.

• The maximum amount of cash that can earn interest across all eligible accounts is £100,000, as set out in the Standard Interest Rate Terms. Any boosted interest reward will be paid alongside any interest earned at the Standard Rate.

• We may change the interest rate reward at any point and without prior notice.

• You can only receive one reward, even if you open more than one account or meet the reward requirements in more than one account. 

5. When can’t I take part in the promotion? 

• We'll do what we reasonably can to open your account, but you won't be able to take part in the promotion if: 

 - You are taking part in another IG group promotion or incentive, unless those terms allow it. If you are taking part in more than one IG group promotion, you will only be eligible for the promotion you took part in first. 

- You joined IG or opened an account indirectly through a third party, introducer or similar arrangement.  

- You work for IG group, one of its affiliates or subsidiaries, or a direct competitor of IG. 

- Legal, regulatory or other restrictions apply to your account, for example because of where you live.  

- You or your investments do not meet our usual account checks or suitability requirements.  

• Where possible, we'll let you know during the application process if any of these restrictions mean you can’t take part in the promotion. 

7. What else do I need to know? 

• This promotion is organised by IG Trading and Investments Limited, which we refer to as “IG”, “we”, “us”, or “our” in these terms. We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under register number 944492. Our registered address is 88 Wood Street, London, England, EC2V 7DA. 
• Except where the loss or damage is caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct, we are not responsible for any direct or indirect loss or damage you incur arising from: 

a. taking part in this promotion; 

b. your trading activity; 

c. being unable to meet the promotion requirements because of:  

i. your existing provider;  

ii. events outside our reasonable control; or  

iii. a technical issue with the internet, our platform, your device, mobile apps or downloadable software; or 

d. us changing, suspending, cancelling, withdrawing or being unable to run the promotion as planned. 

• We may withhold, cancel, restrict access, or recover your reward if we reasonably believe you have acted fraudulently, abused the promotion, gained an unfair or unintended advantage, or breached these terms or your customer agreement. 

• We may change or end these terms, or suspend, cancel or withdraw this promotion, at any time and without telling you first. If you have already started taking part, you can still receive the reward if you meet all the requirements, unless we reasonably believe the promotion has been misused or these terms have been breached.

• We’ll decide how this promotion applies, including whether you have met the requirements, how any reward is awarded and any exceptions. If there is a dispute or something is not covered by these terms, we’ll resolve it in a way we consider fair and reasonable.

• If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that part will be treated as removed, but the rest of the terms will continue to apply. 

• If your customer agreement conflicts with these promotion terms, your customer agreement and our costs and charges will take priority.  

• These terms are governed by English law. Only the courts of England and Wales can deal with disputes about these terms.
