Economic diary

Look out for the Tankan and manufacturing data followed closely by China's Caixin manufacturing PMI. Similar data is out from the US as well. We also have an OPEC+ meeting, where talks relating to the impact of the banking turmoil on confidence and oil demand may well dominate.

In Australia, we have an interest rate decision from the RBA and also trade balance numbers from Germany.

From the eurozone, watch out for producer price numbers. Plenty of key events coming out of America including JOLTS, factory orders and API crude oil inventories.

On Wednesday, we've got an interest rate decision from a New Zealand after Australia the previous day, and also factory orders from Germany and industrial production from France. The focus will be Friday, when we get non-farm payrolls on the US.

Corporate diary

We've got plenty on the corporate front as well, starting on Tuesday with full-year earnings from Saga Ltd.

Mid-week, we have quite a deluge with numbers from Tops Tiles and third quarter (Q3) earnings from Conagra.

Then on Thursday, fourth quarter (Q4) earnings from Constellation Brands and Levi Strauss & Company.
