HSBC climbs after its Q3 kicks off UK bank earnings
With a profit that beat expectations, and the promise of a return of some $2 billion in a share buyback plan, HSBC shares climbed more than 1% to go to four-month highs.
IGTV’s Jeremy Naylor says despite this, however, there was no dividend for shareholders in the third quarter (Q3).
