Charting the markets: 21 March
Today, we'll be taking a look at the aftermath of the Swiss National Bank's interest rate cut, the Federal Reserve's monetary policy decision, and the shifts in currency values.

In the stock market, various indices like the Nikkei 225, Nasdaq 100, the Dow Jones, and FTSE 100 are either making new record highs or nearing them. The Nikkei 225 is on track for its sixth consecutive day of gains. The Nasdaq 100 is close to reaching the 18,500 level. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is approaching the 40,000 mark, and the FTSE 100 is trading at its highest level in ten months.
In the commodity market, the price of Brent crude oil has risen to levels not seen since November of the previous year, indicating a significant long-term bottoming formation. The price of gold has also reached a new record high, although there are signs of a potential short-term correction.
