Verizon results preview: what does the company expect?

After Verizon’s Q4 2018 results, the communications company noted it was expecting ‘low single-digit percentage growth.’ Verizon’s Q1 profits may improve with its investment in 5G technology for their devices. The 5G wireless network has recently launched in Chicago and will be available throughout the US soon. Verizon’s CEO, Hans Vestberg, noted that faster phone service with 5G mobile service was the future of the corporation.

‘This is our commitment to be on the leading edge of technology to provide customers with the best network experiences in the world, to deliver growth in revenue and profitability, to expand our 5G leadership, to sustain value to shareholders, and to enable services that benefit society and make the world a better place,’ said Vestberg.

Verizon consumer group president, Ronan Dunne, also sees 5G technology as innovative.

‘The reality of 5G is here and unequivocally proven because of our network and technology leadership,’ said Dunne.
