Before using TradingView, you have to link it to the account you have with us. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it.
To create your TradingView account, visit the TradingView website and click the 'sign up' button. You can register using your email address or sign in with your Google, Apple or Facebook account. Once registered, you'll have access to basic charting features and can explore the platform's community.
You can trade on markets such as forex, indices, commodities and cryptocurrencies using contracts for difference (CFDs). With CFDs, you can:
Before trading any market, carefully consider what suits your individual circumstances. Your trading style and experience level should align with your chosen market's characteristics, while your risk tolerance and available capital will determine appropriate position sizes. Also think about whether the market's typical movement patterns match your preferred timeframe, whether you're looking to trade short-term or hold longer positions.
To access the trading tools, locate the trading panel tab at the bottom of your chart. You can also open it by clicking the 'trading panel' icon in the toolbar at the top of your chart. This panel gives you direct access to trading functions and market analysis tools.
Once you have the trading panel open, click the 'broker' dropdown menu and select 'IG' from the available brokers list. You'll then be prompted to log in to your IG account. Enter credentials to connect your TradingView charts with your trading account.

If your live account is funded, you’re all set to start trading through the TradingView interface. If you want to test your strategies first, you can try our demo account. It’s pre-loaded with [amount] in virtual funds. Note, however, that TradingView isn’t available on our demo account.
