Prior to this, Angeline led the equities breaking news team at Bloomberg and worked as a producer at CNN London.
Angeline Ong joined IG in 2023 after leading and training a team of financial experts behind bespoke market-led content at Reuters, based in London.

Angeline was awarded the UK's prestigious Chevening Scholarship in 2000 and holds a Master’s degree. She has worked in London, New York, Sydney, Kuala Lumpur, Davos, Abu Dhabi and Finland. She speaks English, Bahasa, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien and is fond of singing in Latin-based and African languages as a Mezzo Soprano for the National Choir and St Barnabas Choir.
