Walmart shares drop 6% on EPS miss
Shares of Walmart have sunk over 6% in the pre-market as their first quarter earnings per share (EPS) came in below expectations despite higher revenues for Q1.
This reflects a shrinking profit margin on the back of rising costs, which has led to a reduction in their full-year profit guidance. IGTV’s Daniela Sabin Hathor looks at the Walmart chart.
