Gold price and oil price on the up again
Gold prices are still in a range, although they have rallied from an overnight low. Meanwhile, oil prices have pushed higher after consolidating yesterday.
Gold bounces from $1400
Gold remains stuck in the range that has prevailed since late June.
The price continues to oscillate between $1384 and $1440. Overnight support has been found at $1400, and further gains target yesterday’s peak at $1430. A fresh decline below $1400 brings $1384 back into view.
WTI holds gains
WTI’s breakout on Wednesday remains in effect, as the price consolidates above $60.00.
Further gains above $60.80 head towards $62.56, while a decline will see $59.40 tested, and then previous trendline resistance from the April high may step in as support.
