This morning in London: The FTSE 100 is currently up six points at 6842.

FX and commodities: GBP/USD is down six pips at $1.6423, EUR/USD is down 16 pips at $1.3535 and USD/JPY is up 54 pips at ¥104.72. Brent crude is up 48 cents at $106.97 and gold is trading at $1251, down $2.

Stocks: Unilever posted a 9% rise in full-year pre-tax profits. SAB Miller reported a 4% increase in third-quarter sales.

The day ahead: German and eurozone economic sentiment are due for release at 10am, followed by UK CBI industrial production at 11am.
