How to open a live IG MT4 account

Open a live IG trading account (if you don’t already have one)
Log in to your My IG dashboard
Click ‘add another account’
Select ‘MetaTrader 4 account for CFDs’

You’ll receive new login details for your live MT4 account. Your demo balance, trades and history won’t carry over.

We keep your demo active as long as you use it. If your account remains inactive for an extended period, it may be disabled – but you can always create a new one.
