How to fund your account

Before you start trading, you first need to fund your account. You can find out more about the various funding methods available below.

Card payments

The quickest way to place funds on your account is by credit or debit card if you are a professional client and by debit card only if you are a retail client. Successfully authorised payments by credit or debit card are allocated to your account immediately. For security reasons, your chosen card must be in the same name as your account with us is.

You can make instant deposits via secure online payment in the Make a Payment section. Simply select a registered card and enter the required amount.
You can register a card from the 'Payments' section of our platform. Look for the green button in the header and then select 'Card/Bank details'.

Credit card only available for professional clients

You can also use the Make a Payment online section to make instant deposits (for legal reasons, we are unable to accept cards where the card holder is a US resident).

We cannot accept cash payments, commercial credit cards, or business credit cards. Credit cards and debit card payments can only be used for personal and joint accounts.

 

Bank transfer

When depositing funds via a bank transfer, please quote your name and account number as a reference. The beneficiary account should read IG and the reference field should quote your IG client account and name (eg ZX001 Anna Smith).
