Risk event for the week of 29 May: US debt ceiling deadline
There are three potential outcomes to the US debt ceiling talks. These are total failure, disagreement and debt default, an agreement in which case the debt ceiling is raised bringing a relief rally, while the third outcome is an agreed extension.
