Gold claws its way higher

While the price of gold continues to climb, progress has been slow.

However, downside has also been limited, which continues to reinforce the view that a higher low is in place here and that further gains above $1500 are likely

WTI drops back rapidly

WTI reversed most of Monday’s gains yesterday, with the price falling back towards $58.

This would tend to reinforce the view that more losses are in store, with a push below $58 opening the way to $54.
