Geopolitics, China keep investors edgy

In the next few days, there are a few important things happening that could affect the trading markets. One thing to keep an eye on is what's going on in the world. Geopolitics and the Chinese economy are both causing some concern.

We recently got some information that tells us that manufacturing in China is slowing down, and if it gets worse, it could impact the Hang Seng, the stock index for companies in Hong Kong.

UK housing report will shed light

Another thing to pay attention to is what's happening in the UK with housing prices. There's a report coming out about whether housing prices are going up or down, and this can give us an idea of the health of the housing market.

In the US, there are a few important things happening too. We'll get some numbers about employment, manufacturing and job openings. And there's also going to be an announcement about what the Federal Reserve (Fed) is going to do with interest rates, which can affect the value of the US dollar.

Company earnings reports due

Companies that will release updates about how they are doing include GlaxoSmithKline, Aston Martin Lagonda, Next, Kraft Heinz, Avis Budget, American International Group (AIG) and Mondelez.

Some of these companies might face challenges because it's getting more expensive for them to make their products and they might not be making as much money.

Overall, there are a lot of things happening that could affect the trading markets. It's important to pay attention to what's going on around the world, what's happening in different industries, and what reports and announcements are coming out. By doing this, we can try to make better decisions about buying and selling stocks or other investments.
