How to fund your account

Before you start trading, you first need to fund your account. You can find out more about the various funding methods available below.

Card payments

The quickest way to place funds on your account is by credit card. Successfully authorised payments by credit are allocated to your account immediately. For security reasons, your chosen card must be in the same name as your account with is.

You can make instant deposits via secure online payment in the Make a Payment section. Simply select a registered card and enter the required amount.
You can register a card from the 'Payments' section of our platform. Look for the green button in the header and then select 'Card/Bank details'. (for legal reasons, we are unable to accept cards where the cardholder is a US resident).

 

 

Bank transfer

*When depositing funds via a bank transfer, please quote your name and account number as a reference. The beneficiary account should read IG Bank and the reference field should quote your IG Bank client account and name (eg ZX001 Anna Smith).

A personal IBAN is provided for each customer, which will be the account to transfer the funds to. The IBAN can be found in the 'My Account' section in the platform and in your account opening confirmation.

A proof of payment has to be sent via "Send a proof of payment" in the "Payments" tab. Please note that this functionality is only available to you if you have traded on the account at least once.

* We cannot accept cash payments, commercial credit cards, or business credit cards. Credit card payments can only be used for personal and joint accounts.
