Alongside revenue and earnings, investors will assess JPMorgan’s interest-income outlook, costs and credit losses. Technically, the $325–$333 area is pivotal. A sustained recovery above $333 could open the way towards $345.

JPMorgan Q3 earnings: Date and expectations

Metric Timing or expectation
Results release Tuesday, 13 October 2026, around 13:00 CEST
Earnings call 14:30 CEST
Expected earnings per share $5.90
Expected revenue $51.22 billion

Interest-income outlook and credit quality take centre stage

Capital-markets activity could provide support. In September, management projected year-on-year percentage growth in the mid-to-high teens for both investment-banking fees and trading revenue.

JPMorgan Chase & Co existing 2026 guidance points to approximately $96.5 billion in net interest income excluding Markets and $107.5 billion in adjusted expenses. The expected credit-card net charge-off rate stands at approximately 3.2%.

Higher interest-income guidance, controlled costs and stable credit quality would be supportive. Additional credit-loss provisions or a weaker outlook could overshadow otherwise strong quarterly results.

Seasonality: A historically favourable autumn window

The 25-year Seasonax study shows an average gain of 5.81% between 9 October and 10 November. Returns were positive in 19 of 25 observations, or 76%. However, the lower median return of 2.24% indicates that a few strong years lift the average.

Technical analysis: $325–$333 becomes the decision zone

JPMorgan advanced from its March low of $279.26 to an August high of $366.74, with the bullish June breakout accelerating the uptrend. The stock has since entered a correction.

Attention now centres on the Fibonacci level at $333.32. Labelled 61.8% on the chart’s low-to-high scale, it represents a 38.2% retracement of the preceding rally when measured down from the peak. Beneath it, the rising 200-day EMA at $325.46 has already been tested during the recent pullback.

The $325–$333 area therefore forms the central technical decision zone. Reclaiming $333 and subsequently holding it as support could allow a recovery towards $345.

The RSI remains below the 48.5 threshold used in this analysis, with a displayed reading of 45.36. A sustained recovery above that threshold would strengthen the rebound scenario. A break below the 200-day EMA would instead bring the next Fibonacci level at $312.68 into focus.
