WiseTech overview

WiseTech Global is a leading developer of logistics execution software. Its flagship CargoWise platform is used by thousands of freight forwarders, logistics providers and shippers worldwide to manage complex global supply-chain operations. The company has expanded significantly through the acquisition of e2open and is pushing deeper into artificial intelligence (AI)-driven tools and compliance solutions.

When will WiseTech report its latest earnings?

WiseTech Global is scheduled to release its full-year results for the 12 months ending 30 June 2026 on Wednesday, 26 August 2026

The backdrop

In its half-year (HY)2026 results, released in late February, WiseTech delivered a solid performance that was broadly in line with expectations:

  • Total revenue rose 76% to US$672 million (up 7% organically), helped by five months’ contribution from e2open
  • CargoWise revenue grew 12% to US$372.4 million (9% organically), driven by large global freight forwarder rollouts, price increases and the new commercial model
  • Reported earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) climbed 31% to US$252.1 million (margin 38%)
  • Underlying net profit after tax (NPAT) increased 2% to US$114.5 million, while statutory NPAT fell 36% to US$68.1 million due to higher non-cash charges, amortisation and interest costs
  • Interim dividend lifted 1% to US 6.8 cents per share

The standout operational positive was the e2open integration. WiseTech achieved its FY27 cost-synergy target of US$50 million in annualised run-rate savings in January – nearly a year and a half ahead of schedule.

At the same time, the company announced the next phase of its AI-driven efficiency programme, expecting to reduce headcount in product, development and customer service roles (including e2open) by up to 50%, or around 2000 positions, across FY26 and into FY27.

Chief executive officer (CEO) Zubin Appoo summed up the half: 'This half, we executed with discipline and delivered results in line with our expectations, and we are confident in our outlook. We continue on our deliberate AI transformation journey. AI is strengthening our advantage, enabling significantly more automation and value for our customers… and unlocking levels of efficiency gains across WiseTech that were previously out of reach.'

The market reacted positively, with the shares finishing 11.05% higher at $47.74 as investors focused on the clean delivery, early synergy realisation and reaffirmed guidance rather than the near-term restructuring costs.

Recent developments

Since WiseTech's half-year results were announced in late February, there has been no formal trading update or change to guidance. However, the share price has plunged to levels last seen in June 2021.

The leg lower in late March came as part of the broader SaaSpocalypse that hit global tech and software stocks. A new leg lower began in late June following media reports of an Australian Federal Police (AFP) investigation into founder Richard White in a personal capacity. The company has repeatedly stated that the alleged AFP probe relates solely to White personally and that it is not aware of any investigation into WiseTech itself.

In early July, White stepped down as Executive Chair (effective immediately), although he remains on the board as an executive director and Chief Innovation Officer. Raelene Murphy was appointed Independent Chair.

This stabilisation in the governance situation, combined with the broader recovery in global tech stocks, has seen WiseTech rebound to around $43 – some 50% above its late-June low of $28.76.

What to expect from WiseTech FY26 earnings

The focus will be on whether WiseTech has landed within its guidance ranges, how the e2open integration and cost synergies are tracking, and any update on the timing of the AI-led restructure. Commentary on the new commercial model and product pipeline will also matter. After the events of the past few months, investors will be listening closely for signs that the refreshed board structure is bedding down and operating with genuine independence. A clean result at the mid-to-upper end of guidance, combined with clearer visibility on the cost-out programme and product roadmap, would likely be well received.

Key financial summary expectations

  • Revenue: US$1.39–1.44 billion (company guidance) / consensus around US$1.41 billion
  • EBITDA: US$550–585 million (company guidance) / consensus around US$579 million
  • Net Income/NPAT: consensus around US$233 million
  • Dividend: consensus around US$0.16 per share

WiseTech technical analysis

Looking at the weekly chart, the story since the $141.61 high in November 2024 has been pretty straightforward – and pretty brutal.

From that peak, the stock rolled over into a clear downtrend of lower highs and lower lows. The first real lower high came in around $121, and from that point the selling gathered real momentum. What followed was a relentless slide through 2025 and into the middle of 2026 that eventually bottomed at $28.76 in late June – almost an 80% drawdown from the peak.

That $28.76 low has held so far, and the bounce that followed has been encouraging with the stock pushing back into the mid $40s.

Near-term, the $47 resistance level (two highs there in April and May) is the first real test. A break above here would open the way for a run at the $53.43 high from early March. Clearing that would open the door toward the $67.80 resistance area coming from the Liberation Day low in April 2025.

On the downside, initial support sits around $36.00, though the more important level remains the $28.76 record low.

For now, the stock has stabilised, but whether this bounce is just a correction within the broader downtrend or the start of something more constructive will likely hinge on next week's result and how the market receives it.
