We may let you withdraw your funds through an alternative method at our absolute discretion and may ask you to verify your source of funds beforehand.
How to withdraw
Withdrawals on the desktop
To withdraw your funds, please log in to your My IG dashboard, go to the ‘live accounts’ tab, and select ‘withdraw funds’.
Withdrawals on mobile
Open the app, select ‘account’ at the bottom right and choose the account you wish to withdraw from, then tap ‘withdraw’.

We'll send out same-day bank transfers if you're requesting a minimum withdrawal of $A2000 before 11am (AEST).
International and foreign currency withdrawals
We’ll process any foreign currency withdrawals or bank transfers to foreign accounts within 2 to 3 working days.
Such payment requests will incur a charge depending on the currency you are withdrawing. We'll debit this charge from your account in addition to your payment amount:

Card withdrawals
We can return your funds free of charge to most debit and credit cards. Your funds would typically reach you within 3 to 5 working days.

PayPal: up to A$7500 per transaction, with as many transactions as you like
EFT and bank transfer: no limit

Withdrawals from share trading accounts
When selling equities on a share trading account, there’s a 2-3 day settlement period before your funds become available to withdraw. You can find more information on this here.
