You can make a deposit by logging into your IG account, as MT4 doesn’t have a deposit or withdrawal function.
Make sure that your card, PayPal, or bank account is in your name, as we cannot accept funding from third-parties. Deposits should be in the same currency as your IG MT4 account. We’ll credit any successful card, Apple Pay, PayPal and PayID payments to your account right away.
You can also fund your MT4 account in Australia by BPAY, which may take up to 2 days, or in New Zealand by EFT, which can take up to 3 days. If you’d like to trade with the funds straight away, you can upload a proof of payment. You can find more information on deposits, including times and fees, here.
All payments go through security checks and should come from a source held in your name. We usually return your funds via the same method and account used to make your deposit.
How to deposit via desktop
Log in to My IG
Select your MT4 account in the ‘Live accounts’ tab
Click ‘Deposit funds’ to choose your preferred payment method.
How to deposit via mobile app
Select ‘Account’ on the bottom-right corner of the screen
Switch to your MT4 account
Tap ‘Add funds’ to choose your preferred payment method
