IG Australia offers two trading account types: CFD and Share Trading. When you first open your IG trading account, you can open one account type, or both. If you would like to add another account type or add a second CFD or Share Trading account, please follow the steps below:
For individuals
If you would like to add another account, simply log in to My IG and click on 'Add account'.
Then follow the prompts to submit your new account application.
For corporates, trusts and SMSFs
Applying to get a second CFD or Share Trading account
If you would like to add a second CFD account or second Share Trading account, you can simply send your request via email to helpdesk.au@ig.com.

If you currently have a Share Trading account and would like to add a CFD account, or if you currently have a CFD account and would like to add a Share Trading account, please follow the steps below:
