This morning in London: The FTSE 100 is currently down ten points at 6560.
FX and commodities: GBP/USD is down 33 pips at $1.5205, EUR/USD is up one pip at $1.3265 and USD/JPY is down nine pips at Y97.92. Brent Crude is up 25 cents at $103.35 and gold is trading at $1331, up $5.
Stocks: Tullow Oil announced a 15% increase in pre-tax profits for the first half of 2013. Antofagasta reported a 2% decline in copper output in the second quarter. BAT announced a 4% increase in first-half revenue. Centrica revealed a 9% rise in first-half profits.
The day ahead: In Europe, eurozone unemployment and inflation are due out at 10am. In the US, ADP employment is due out at 1.15pm, followed by GDP at 1.30pm. Chicago PMI is due out at 2.45pm and the Federal Reserve will make a statement at 7pm (all times London times).
