This morning in London: The FTSE 100 is currently up two points at 6508.
FX and commodities: GBP/USD is up eight pips at $1.5553, EUR/USD is down 18 pips at $1.3173 and USD/JPY is up 19 pips at ¥99.51. Brent crude is down 12 cents at $104.23 and gold is trading at $1391, down $1.
Stocks: Brewer Greene King reported an 18% rise in like-for-like sales in the 18-week period until 1 September.
The day ahead: UK GDP construction PMI is due at 9.30am, followed by eurozone PPI at 10am. In the US, manufacturing PMI and construction spending will be announced at 3pm.
