Last night in the US: The Dow Jones closed down 12 points at 15,294, the NASDAQ finished down three points at 3459 and the S&P 500 closed down four points at 1650.
This morning in London: The FTSE 100 is currently up one point at 6697.
FX and commodities: GBP/USD is down six pips at $1.5101, EUR/USD is up two pips at $1.2938 and USD/JPY is down 28 pips at Y101.72. Brent crude is up seven cents at $102.38 and gold is trading at $1390, down $1.
Stocks: Financial services provider Close Brothers Group announced a 4% rise in assets-under-management in the past three months compared with the same period last year.
