When placing share orders with IG, the minimum order consideration is determined by the currency of the exchange you are trading on, not your account currency.

The minimum consideration applies to the total order value, not the individual share price
Applies to both buy and sell orders
Exception for sell orders: You may place an order below the minimum consideration if it is to close your entire position in that stock
The minimum is based on the exchange currency, regardless of your account’s base currency
Example
If you are buying shares on the ASX, your order must be worth at least AUD $90
If you are buying US shares on NYSE/NASDAQ, the minimum order value is USD $90
