Anthropic Pre-IPO Market Cap CFDs
Positions run until the end of Day 1 trading, when it closes at Anthropic's market cap at that point. You can still trade in and out at any time before then, so you're not locked in. The market closes briefly shortly before listing, then reopens once the shares start trading.

How is the price set before Anthropic lists?
Since there's no public share price yet, pricing is based on analyst valuations, market news, comparable listed companies, and net client positioning across IG's client base. IG sets the price in the absence of an underlying market.
Do I own shares if I trade this product?
No. You don't own or have any interest in the underlying asset at any point, including after listing.
What happens when Anthropic actually lists?
For Anthropic Pre-IPO Market Cap CFDs, If your position is still open, it runs through Day 1 trading and settles at Anthropic's market cap at the end of the day.
What if the IPO is delayed or falls through?
If shares aren't issued by the specified date, all open positions are voided and closed at the opening price, and your margin is fully refunded. Positions already closed before voiding aren't affected.
Can I set a guaranteed stop on this product?
No, guaranteed stops aren't available on Pre-IPO Share CFDs.
What fees apply?
No commission charges apply; the only charge is the dealing spread.
Why does the price move before listing if there's no public market?
The quote reflects expectations, funding news, regulatory developments, product announcements, market sentiment and potential shifts in the IPO timeline. All these factors can move the price.
What currency will I be settled in if Anthropic lists overseas?
You will be settled in AUD. If Anthropic lists in a currency other than AUD, final settlement reflects the relevant FX rate at close of trading.
Who can trade this product?
Pre-IPO CFDs are available through a standard CFD trading account with IG Trading. There is expected to be a short period where the market is closed (in the hours leading up to the actual listing beginning to trade).
