How do I view my account overview?

How do I access the Wallet?

What do the account cards show?

Each account card shows the account name and current balance. The card state varies depending on the account status:

  • Pending — shown while your application is being reviewed: 'Quick review in progress — Our team is reviewing your details'.

  • Blocked — shown if we were unable to verify your details: 'We couldn't verify your details. Our team can help explain your options.' with a Contact us button.

  • On hold — shown while a document check or additional verification is in progress.

ISA cards additionally show your annual ISA allowance remaining (for example, Allowance 26/27 £16,500.23/20k). JISA cards show the JISA annual allowance (£9,000). Crypto cards show your staking position if applicable.

  • Replaceable funds — the total amount withdrawn from your ISA this tax year minus any recontributions. Your IG ISA is flexible, meaning you can replace withdrawn amounts before 5 April without using additional allowance.

The ISA overview also shows a Transfer ISA option: 'Move your existing ISA to IG and keep your full £20,000 tax-free allowance intact.'

Frequently asked questions

Where can I find my profit and loss?

Your P&L is shown in the account overview. Tap any account card from the Wallet to see your combined profit or loss across all open positions. You can also see P&L at position level in the Positions tab.

Why was my order rejected?

Orders can be rejected for a number of reasons, including: insufficient funds in your account, or because only closing orders are permitted on your account at that time. The Orders tab shows the rejection reason next to each order.

Where do I find my statements and tax forms?

Tap the document icon at the top right of the account overview screen. Statements are available by account type — transaction statements, P&L statements, costs and charges statements, and an annual Consolidated Tax Certificate for invest accounts.

What is a Consolidated Tax Certificate?

A Consolidated Tax Certificate (CTC) is an annual summary of any dividends you have received in a full tax year. It is available for GIA, ISA, and JISA accounts and can be downloaded as a PDF.

What is the ISA replaceable funds figure?

Replaceable funds shows the total amount you have withdrawn from your ISA this tax year minus any recontributions. Because your IG ISA is flexible, you can replace withdrawn amounts before 5 April without using additional annual allowance.

No. Funds held in a JISA cannot be withdrawn until the child turns 18. There is no Withdraw button on JISA accounts.

How do I receive crypto?

From the Crypto account overview, tap Receive to receive crypto from an external wallet. Your transfer will progress through several statuses — from Deposit detected through to Deposit complete — which you can track in the History tab.

What does 'Deposit verification needed' mean on my crypto transfer?

This status means you need to confirm ownership of the sending wallet before your deposit can be processed. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the verification. Once confirmed, your transfer will move to Deposit processing.
