Can I fund from the deal ticket?

Yes. If you try to place a trade and do not have enough funds, the deal ticket shows the exact shortfall and offers two options:

  • Move money: instantly move the minimum required amount from another account. The deal ticket shows: 'Instantly move at least £111.32 to open this position in GIA.' You can only move the minimum shortfall — not more.

  • Add money: deposit funds via Pay by Bank (recommended, instant) or Apple Pay. Quick amounts of £250, £1,000, £2,500, and £5,000 are shown as shortcuts.

For ISA accounts, the ISA annual allowance is enforced during the move or add flow. If you try to move or add more than your remaining ISA allowance, you will see: 'You have exceeded your ISA deposit limit. The most you can move/add is £999.99.'

Outcome messages:

  • Transfer success: 'Money moved successfully. £112.32 was moved from Main account to GIA / JISA.'

  • Transfer failed: 'Transfer failed. There was an error with your transfer, please try again.'

  • Deposit success: 'Deposit successful. £112.32 was added to your GIA.'

  • Payment cancelled: 'We were unable to process this request.'

  • Deposit failed: 'There was an error with your payment, please try again.'
