What should I know before placing a withdrawal request?
Do I need to verify my withdrawal?
Typically, we return money using the same method it was received. For example, if you funded the account via cards you might need to refund them within the displayed limits.
We may let you withdraw your funds through an alternative method at our absolute discretion and may ask you to verify your source of funds beforehand.
Will my withdrawal require currency conversion?
A currency conversion is usually required if the currency of your withdrawal method differs to the currency held in your IG account.
If you do not wish for your funds to be converted when withdrawing, please send an email to payments@ig.com from your registered email address including the following:
Your IG account ID from which you wish to withdraw from. Your IG account ID is a five-character code that can be either alphabetic (like ABCDE) or alphanumeric (like CX17H).
