How will the UK Summer Bank Holiday and US Labour day affect trading hours?

In Singapore, there will be a few changes to our trading hours over the UK Summer Bank Holiday and US Labor Day (all times SGT):

Monday, 25 August 2025

UK Summer Bank Holiday

UK equities, index futures, soft commodities and interest rates will be closed.

We’ll be making an out-of-hours price on the FTSE until futures re-open at 8am on Tuesday, 26 August 2025.

Brent Crude and London Gas Oil will be open as normal. UK Natural Gas futures will be closed.

New York Cocoa, Coffee and Sugar contracts will open at 7.30pm.

Please note there will be no LBMA Gold Fix on 25 August.

US Labor Day

US Index futures will close early at 1:00am on Tuesday, 2 September 2025. During this time, we’ll offer out of hours pricing from 1:00am to 4:00am. Futures will re-open at 6:00am.

European indices will close at 4:00am on Tuesday, 2 September 2025 and reopen at 6:00am.

US equities and soft commodities will be closed.

US interest rates will close early at 1:00am on Tuesday, 2 September 2025.

US metals and energies will close early at 2:30am on Tuesday, 2 September 2025.

Brent Crude, London Gas Oil and ICE WTI will close early at 1:30am on Tuesday, 2 September 2025.

London Sugar will close early at 12:00am on Tuesday, 2 September 2025.

The VIX will close early at 11.30pm on Monday, 1 September 2025.
