Trading Hours Updates

Below is a preliminary overview of the amended trading hours for 2026 (all times in CET/CEST). This page highlights upcoming changes across global markets, including public holidays, early closures and special trading sessions, to help you plan your trading activity effectively.

We regularly review and update this information to reflect the latest market schedules. We recommend bookmarking this page to stay informed of any changes.

While the information is accurate to the best of our knowledge, trading hours may be subject to change.

2026

Presidents' Day Trading Hours

Monday 16 February 2026

US and Canadian equity markets are closed.

US index futures close early at 7pm. We'll make out-of-hours prices on Wall Street, the S&P 500, US Tech 100 and the US Russell 2000 until 10pm. Futures reopen at midnight.

The Volatility Index (VIX) closes early at 5.30pm and reopens at midnight.

Metals, including Gold and Silver, and US energies close early at 8.30pm and reopen at midnight.

US rates close early at 7pm and reopen at midnight.

US soft commodities are closed.

London Sugar closes early at 6pm.

Lumber and Livestock are closed.

Tuesday 17 February 2026 US Grain futures open at 2am.

Livestock trades open from 3.30pm and Lumber opens at 4pm.

US daylight saving time (DST) and British summer time (BST)

Friday 13, 20 and 27 March 2026 FX markets, commodities, 24-hour index markets and the dealing desk will close at 10pm.

New York Cocoa, Sugar and Coffee and London Sugar all close an hour earlier.

Any expiring US markets will be settled an hour earlier than usual.
Saturday 14, 21 and 28 March 2026 Cryptocurrencies and weekend markets will open at 9am.
Sunday 8, 15 and 22 March 2026 FX markets will open at 10pm.

FX markets on the MT4 platform will open at 11pm.

24-hour index markets will open at 11pm.

Good Friday / Easter

Friday 03 April 2026 European and US equity markets will be closed.

The Volatility Index (VIX) will be closed.

European and US commodities will be closed.

Rates and bonds will be closed for the day.

Japan 225, Singapore Blue Chip and China A50 will be open.
Saturday 04 April 2026 Weekend markets and cryptocurrencies will be open as normal.
Sunday 05 April 2026 Weekend markets and cryptocurrencies will be open as normal. Forex will open at 10pm. US and 24-hour indices quoted from midnight.
Monday 06 April 2026 European equity markets will be closed. European 24-hour indices will be quoted out of hours till 11pm.

US markets will re-open.
Tuesday 07 April 2026 European markets will re-open.

Early May Bank Holiday

Monday 04 May 2026 UK equity markets and index futures will be closed. We will offer out-of-hours pricing on the FTSE 100.

UK commodities will be closed, apart from Brent Crude and London Gas Oil.

UK interest rates and bonds will be closed.

Delayed opening for New York Cocoa, NY Coffee and NY Sugar at 1.30pm (CEST).

Memorial Day (US) / Spring Bank Holiday (UK)

Monday 25 May 2026

US Markets

US equity markets will be closed.

US index futures will close early at 7pm. We'll offer out-of-hours pricing from 7pm until 10pm. Futures reopen at midnight.

US interest rates and bonds will close early at 7pm.

US soft commodities are closed. US metals and energies will close early at 8.30pm.

The VIX closes early at 5.30pm and reopens at midnight.

UK Markets

UK equity markets and index futures will be closed. We will offer out-of-hours pricing on the FTSE 100 until 10pm.

UK commodities are closed, apart from Brent Crude, Heating Oil and London Gas Oil futures which close early at 7.30pm.

UK interest rates and bonds will be closed.

Juneteenth

Friday 19 June 2026 Brent Crude and Gas Oil futures close early at 7.30pm.

US index futures will close early at 7pm. We'll offer out-of-hours pricing from 7pm until 10pm.

US equities and soft commodities will be closed.

US interest rates close early at 7pm.

US energies and metals close early at 8.30pm.

The VIX closes early at 5.30pm.

Independence Day

Friday 3 July 2026 US equities close early at 7pm. All Sessions shares will be available to trade until 11pm.

US index futures close early at 7.15pm. We'll offer out-of-hours pricing from 7pm until 10pm.

VIX futures close early at 7.15pm.

UK Summer Bank Holiday

Monday 31 August 2026 UK equities, index futures, soft commodities and interest rates will be closed.

We'll be making an out-of-hours price on the FTSE 100 until futures re-open at 2am on Tuesday.

Brent Crude and London Gas Oil will be open as normal. UK Natural Gas futures will be closed.

New York Cocoa, Coffee and Sugar contracts will open at 1.30pm.

US Labor Day

Monday 07 September 2026 US index futures close early at 7pm. We'll offer out-of-hours pricing from 7pm until 10pm. Futures reopen at midnight.

US and Canadian equities, and soft commodities will be closed.

US interest rates will close early at 7pm.

US metals and energies will close early at 8.30pm.

Brent Crude, London Gas Oil and ICE WTI will close early at 7.30pm.

London Sugar will close early at 6pm.

The VIX will close early at 5.30pm.

UK and European clocks will go back one hour when daylight saving time (DST) ends on Sunday 25 October 2026.
Until Sunday 1 November 2026, the end of US DST, our opening hours will be affected.

Markets and products affected by DST:

US and Canadian markets Open one hour earlier in European time, so US and Canadian shares will be quoted between 2.30pm and 9pm.
All forex markets Will run from 9am to 1am Monday to Thursday, and from 9am to 10pm on Friday 31 October.
24-hour dealing on indices Will open at 11pm on Sunday 26 October and close at 10pm on Friday 31 October.
Expiring US markets Will settle an hour earlier than usual.
New York Cocoa, Sugar and Coffee, and London Sugar All close an hour earlier than normal.
Weekend trading Will open at the same time (9am Saturday). FX will close at the same time (9.40pm on Sunday), but Indices will close one hour earlier (10.40pm on Sunday).
Overnight funding (tom next) adjustments For FX pairs will apply to positions held through 10pm.
All markets Will close at 10pm on Friday 31 October (one hour earlier than the normal 11pm close).

From Sunday 2 November, the above will revert to their usual hours.

Asian markets, which do not observe DST, will operate one hour earlier in European time (until March 2025). For example:

  • HKEX shares will close at 9am
  • SGX shares will close at 10am
  • South African equities will open at 8am and will close at 3.50pm (until March 2026).
  • In-hours trading on Eurex futures (including the Germany 40) will be available one hour earlier at 1.10am.

US equity markets are closed.

US index futures close early at 7pm. We'll offer out-of-hours prices on Wall Street, US 500, US Tech 100 and US Russell 2000 until 10pm. The futures reopen at midnight.

The Volatility Index (VIX) closes early at 5.30pm and reopens at midnight.

Brent Crude, London Gas Oil and UK Nat Gas will close early at 7.30pm.

US rates close at 7pm.

US metals and energies will close early at 8.30pm.

US soft commodities are closed.

London Sugar closes early at 6pm.

Lumber and Livestock are closed.
Black Friday
Friday 27 November 2026
US equity markets close early at 7pm, and there'll be no post-market trading.

US index futures close early at 7.15pm. We'll offer out-of-hours prices on Wall Street, US 500, US Tech 100 and US Russell 2000 until 10pm.

The Volatility Index (VIX) closes early at 7.15pm.

Brent Crude, London Gas Oil and UK Nat Gas will close at 9pm.

US rates and the US Dollar Index close at 7.15pm.

US metals and energies will close early at 8.45pm.

New York Cotton opens late at 2pm. New York Cotton and Orange Juice close early at 7.30pm.

Normal trading hours on New York Sugar, New York Coffee and New York Cocoa.

US grain futures open late at 3.30pm and close early at 7.05pm.

Lumber trades from 4pm to 7.05pm, and Livestock trades from 3.30pm to 7.05pm.

The futures desk and all 24-hour indices close at 10pm, and FX closes at 11pm.

Christmas & New Year Trading Hours

UK half day, closes 1.30pm.

US Shares close early at 7pm.

Early close at 7.05pm for Cotton, Arabica Coffee, New York Cocoa, Lumber, Orange Juice and Grains.

VIX, US indices, Rates, Bonds and Livestock close early at 7.15pm.

US Energies and Metals close early at 7.45pm.
Friday 25 December 2026 All markets are closed. FX markets reopen at 10pm. Out-of-hours markets, US rates, US metals, US energies and the VIX reopen at midnight.
Thursday 31 December 2026 UK equities close early at 1.30pm.

Gilts and 3m-SONIA stop trading at 1.15pm.

The FTSE 100 Index will be quoted out-of-hours from 1.50pm.

Brent Crude, ICE WTI, London Gas Oil close at 9pm.

UK and EU natural gas stop trading at 6pm.

London Cocoa closes at 5.55pm, Robusta Coffee at 6.30pm, and London Sugar at 7pm.
Friday 1 January 2027 All markets are closed. FX markets reopen at 10pm. Out-of-hours markets, US rates, US metals, US energies and the VIX reopen at midnight.
