How will the UK Summer Bank Holiday and US Labour day affect trading hours?

Our trading hours for these bank holidays in 2025 are as follows, all listed in Dubai time:

Monday 31 August 2026 - UK Summer Bank Holiday

  • UK equities, index futures, soft commodities and interest rates will be closed.

  • We'll be making an out-of-hours price on the FTSE until futures re-open at 7am on Tuesday.

  • Brent Crude and London Gas Oil will be open as normal. UK Natural Gas futures will be closed.

  • New York Cocoa, Coffee and Sugar contracts will open at 6.30pm.

Monday 7 September 2026 - US Labor Day

  • US index futures close early at 9pm. Out-of-hours pricing from 9pm until midnight. Futures reopen at 2am (next day)

  • European indices close at midnight. All other out-of-hours markets close at midnight

  • US equities and soft commodities will be closed

  • US interest rates close early at 9pm

  • US metals and energies close early at 10:30pm

  • Brent Crude, London Gas Oil, ICE WTI, UK Nat Gas and EU TTF close early at 9:30pm

  • London Sugar closes early at 8pm

  • The VIX closes early at 7:30pm

  • Lumber and Livestock are closed
