US Daylight Saving Time (DST) and British Summer Time (BST) - March

US and Canadian clocks will spring forward by one hour on Sunday 8 March 2026. British Summer Time (BST) begins on Sunday 29 March 2026.

From Sunday 8 March 2026: US and Canadian market trading hours shift one hour earlier in Dubai time.

From Sunday 29 March 2026: UK and European market trading hours shift one hour earlier in Dubai time.

Asian markets continue to operate at their usual Dubai times — no change.

  • HKEX shares close at noon (12pm)

  • SGX shares close at 1pm

South African equities open at 11am and close at 6:50pm — no change.

End of UK and European Daylight Saving Time (DST) - October

UK and European clocks will be set back by one hour on Sunday, 25 October 2026. US daylight saving time (DST) will end on Sunday, 1 November 2026.

From Sunday 25 October 2026: UK and European market trading hours shift one hour later in Dubai time. This remains in effect until BST resumes in March 2027.

From Sunday 1 November 2026: US and Canadian market trading hours shift one hour later in Dubai time. This remains in effect until US DST resumes in March 2027.

Asian markets (HKEX, SGX, South African equities) continue to operate at their usual Dubai times - no change.

  • HKEX shares close at noon (12pm)

  • SGX shares close at 1pm

South African equities open at 11am and close at 6:50pm - no change.
