MetaTrader definition
MetaTrader is an electronic trading platform which is popular among traders around the world.
It is used to trade on forex and, like most online trading platforms, it allows traders to view charts, stream live prices and place orders with their broker.
The most commonly used version on MetaTrader is currently MetaTrader 4 (MT4), although MetaTrader 5 was released in 2010. Both platforms include apps for mobile devices as well as Windows.
