How will Memorial Day and the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee period affect trading hours?

Our trading hours for these bank holidays in 2022 are as follows, all listed in UK time:

Monday 30 May 2022 (Memorial Day)

  • Brent Crude and Gas Oil futures close early at 6.30pm
  • US index futures close early at 6pm. We’ll make an out-of-hours price on Wall Street, US 500, US Russell 2000, FANG Index and US Tech 100 from 6pm until futures reopen at 11pm
  • US equities and soft commodities will be closed
  • US interest rates close early at 6pm
  • US energies and metals close early at 7.30pm
  • The VIX closes early at 4.30pm

Thursday 2 June 2022 (Platinum Jubilee)

  • UK equities, UK index futures, interest rate and commodity markets (except Brent Crude & Gas Oil) will be closed. We’ll make an out-of-hours price on the FTSE 100
