How to Place Trades on MetaTrader 4
How do I open the order window?
Choose any of these methods:

How do I set up my trade?
| Select your instrument Step 1 - Check the Symbol box shows your desired instrument Step 2 - Change it if needed using the dropdown | 
| Set your trade size Step 1 - Click the Volume box Step 2 - Either:

| Add comments (optional) Use the Comments box to add notes that help identify your trades. | 
What order types can I use?
Instant execution (default)
Executes your order at the current market price.
Pending orders
Sets a future price to open your trade. Choose between:
- Stop orders
- Limit orders
How do I execute my trade?
Click either:
- Buy button (for long positions)
- Sell button (for short positions)
Your order executes immediately.
How do I monitor my trades?
