To close your account:
Close all open positions
Withdraw any remaining funds
Alternatively, you can email us at helpdesk.uk@ig.com from your registered email address to request account closure.
If you'd prefer to use a different email address, include the following security details with your request:
Your full name and date of birth
Your registered postal address
Your phone number
The balance on your IG account
The market you last traded
The last four digits of your registered card(s)
If you have an active ISA account, we can't close Share Dealing accounts without closing the ISA account too.
