A watchlist is a key part of a trader’s toolkit, enabling you to group markets of your choice together in a single easy-to-find place and streamlining your trading. So whether you’re dealing at your desk or on the move, there’s no need to search for markets manually when time’s not on your side.

How do I create a watchlist?

Creating and populating a watchlist is quick and easy, whether you’re using our web-based platform or trading on one of our mobile apps.

Desktop platform

1. Click 'watchlists' in the left-hand panel

2. Click the 'create watchlist' button and name your watchlist

3. Right-click on your market and select 'add to watchlist'
Your new watchlist opens automatically, ready for you to add markets.

To add a watchlist to your workspace so that you can see it when you log in, just select it in ‘watchlists’ and click the ‘add to workspace’ button.

Right-click on any market.
Select 'Add to watchlist'.
Choose the watchlist you'd like to add it to from the list shown — these are the watchlists you've already created from the 'watchlists' tab.

This makes it easy to build up each watchlist over time, adding markets as and when you find ones you want to track, and keeping different watchlists organised for different purposes.

Can I add the same market to more than one watchlist on desktop?

Yes. A market can belong to multiple watchlists at the same time.

Open the watchlist that already contains the market.
Right-click on the market.
Select 'Add to watchlist'.
Choose the additional watchlist you'd like to add it to.

The market now appears in both watchlists. This is a copy, not a move — adding a market to a new watchlist doesn't remove it from the one it's already in.

How do I remove a market from a watchlist on desktop?

Open the watchlist containing the market.
Right-click on the market.
Select 'Remove from [watchlist name]' — for example, 'Remove from My custom watchlist'.

The market is removed immediately. A brief confirmation appears with an option to undo, in case you change your mind.

How do I delete a watchlist on desktop?

Click 'watchlists' in the left-hand panel to open 'My watchlists'.
Right-click on the name of the watchlist you want to delete.
Select 'Delete watchlist'.

The watchlist is deleted immediately, along with all the markets in it. A confirmation banner briefly appears, but this action cannot be undone — so make sure you want to remove the whole watchlist before confirming.

How do I add a watchlist to my workspace on desktop?

Open the watchlist you want to add (click 'watchlists' in the left-hand panel, then select it).
Click the 'Add to workspace' button in the top-right corner.

The watchlist is added to your workspace as its own tab, so it's there every time you log in — you won't need to reopen it from the 'watchlists' panel each time.
