Charting indices: pre-Fed jitter affects markets

There is some hesitation on the equity markets as traders await the Federal Reserve announcement. 

After a two-day bounce, the FTSE 100 is struggling to push beyond 6,200 points, which in terms of price action would suggest we are starting to move higher. The DAX is once again very indecisive with a similar situation on the Dow, which is moving higher but is still shy of the 50-day moving average.
