A profile is a set of charts that traders have saved in a specific order with predefined settings. This feature enables users to maintain and switch between different chart configurations on the MetaTrader 4 platform.

Step 1 - Click File on the main toolbar

MetaTrader 4 includes five pre-set profiles:

- Default
- British Pound
- Euro
- Market Overview
- Swiss Franc

What default profiles are available?

Step 1 - Go to File → Profiles

Step 2 - Select your desired profile

Warning: Changing profiles permanently overwrites your current profile. All modifications are saved automatically. Any modifications made will be permanent, affecting the existing profile configuration.

Saving the current profile enables users to use the same profile whenever they want, preserving specific chart arrangements and settings for future use.

This creates a new profile you can use anytime.

To recover a chart that has been deleted, users need to: Step 1 - Click File

Step 2 - Select Open Deleted

Step 3 - Choose the chart you want to restore

Step 4 - Click to return it to its original location

This action displays all the previously deleted charts. When users click on any of these charts, the platform returns it to its original location.
